Take me back to: HUNGARY

So today's blog post is something a bit different, I'm currently(FINALLY) enjoying the British weather and theres just the perfect amount of breeze - which had me remembering the most amazing holiday I went on last year in August. 

I went to Hungary (for a second time) - my boyfriend pictured below is Hungarian and his family is still living there so we went to go and see them. 

But this Holiday, was spectacular because we went there for my birthday, I was treated to a dinner romantic dinner cruise and of course a day of sightseeing. 

We spent a few days in Budapest, the capital city and then ventured to the smaller towns-Gyongyos,Eger and Oroshaza. Hungary is a beautiful country and the people are lovely and kind hearted. One thing I could not get over (and I'm still obsessed) is the FOOD! oh my gosh, I felt as if I was in Heaven... and ended up putting on a few pounds!

A late last minute plan, we visited Szeged and then had a fun road trip to Serbia with a few of my boyfriends friends.

I would recommend visiting Hungary, you'll have fun and the nightlife is great, they have foam/water pool parties is Budapest. Just be prepared for the heat and lots of food!

How I Style: Shortalls/Short Dungarees

The one piece that never leaves your wardrobe, of course has to be a pair of short dungaree's. They are an easy piece to throw on throughout summer. Me, personally? I like to style mine with a small light crop top or t-shirt and pair of sandals, like the ones pictured above which are from Zara. I'd also grab my small fringed clutch bag (which can be used as a shoulder bag), can't forget about a pair of sunglasses too!

HOME TREND: LET'S GET VINTAGE

Hi Lovelies! Happy Monday! 

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, so todays post features a never ending trend; Vintage! I know the idea of using something that has belonged to someone else is kind of daunting. But as some would say 'one mans trash, is another mans treasure' - but anyways.. I particularly love finding things for my home. In fact most of the time, I end up using my findings for something completely different.

Vintage Binoculars - Charity shop 

Vintage Camera Kiev - *was a gift



The two items I want to blab about are my vintage binoculars and kiev vintage camera (which actually still works). Me ? I LOVE a bargain(who doesn't? - I came across these binoculars a few weeks ago, while browsing in our local charity shop - the binoculars were super cheap, I think I ended up paying something like £1.50
I actually use the binoculars and case as a book end- it does the job and looks great!

The kiev camera was actually a gift to my boyfriend, but I've sort of taken it over. I just use it for 'show&tell' decor around the flat to be honest, but I'm sure in the next few months I'll find a more practical way to use it around the flat.
**Please remember you do not have trek all the way to camden or brick lane for vintage/thrifted bits!
Don't be afraid to walk in to that charity shop!

URBAN FINDS: INDUSTRIAL

A moment of silence is needed..  just take in how perfect this space is.

Best believe, I have found the most amazingly designed space. This particular space caught my mind while browsing and I just had to share it. The structuring of the windows, gives it such an airy ora. I love how the interior is not super 'matchy matchy (which is sometimes a pain to look at) because it just gives add more personality. 

The exposed brick wall, gives the space an raw textured feel, but compliments the surrounding walls.

YOUNGLIVING #1

So today has been one of those chilled days, the weathers been pretty dull and boring - Plus I had a bit of spare time and of course, I spent most the day compiling inspiration boards/collages. 

I've created a variety of collages in a inspo series, which is called 'Young Living' 

This collage is my take on 'young' living, for those who are most likely to be living ( renting) in flat or apartment and aren't really allowed to re-decorate due to lame contracts. I mainly focused on basic necessities that would instantly add texture and ora to your living space.
